Eleven Miles of Night: Reading #85:

Like everyone else with a non-mainstream interest, ghost hunters had staked out various corners of the Internet to display their wares and their results: Jason had watched countless YouTube videos that showed shifting light and shadow patterns in supposedly haunted houses, and audio recordings taken at murder scenes. All of this evidence was vague and inconclusive at best, relying heavily upon the power of suggestion. The shifting light patterns in grainy ghost hunting videos were barely visible, and the purported EVP recordings posted online might have been nothing more than atmospheric interference. Jason also suspected that much of this online “evidence” for the supernatural was the stuff of deliberately concocted hoaxes as well....
